Senior Administrator, Administration & FinanceJob Description The Senior Administrator, Administration & Finance is responsible for providing executive leadership within the Dean's Office for all offices and programs of Education, Faculty and Academic Affairs as well as corporate services provide by NYULISOM. Has significant independent responsibility to plan and manage operations and programs within Education and Faculty Affairs.  Together with the Dean, designs, implements and oversees mission strategic planning, marketing & reputation building, finance & budgeting, diversity & inclusion, wellness, curricular reform, mission operations including emergency management planning, compliance, policies & procedures, facility design, performance management & employee engagement. As the administrative leader, represents the school in institution-wide initiatives including Reputation-Building, New Education programs & schools, Compliance, Change Management, Annual Trainings, Employee Engagement, Core Competencies, Diversity, Physician Wellness and Faculty Lifecycle.  Represents the Dean as an advocate for the needs and goals for the school to various internal and external constituencies.  Serves as the lead contact with NYULISOM and Sr leaders regarding new school programs. Strategic Planning and Goal Setting: With the Dean establishes annual and multiyear goals for the school.  In addition and with the Dean, establishes and socializes mission-based annual Dean Snapshot goals.  Monitors goals and identifies course correction opportunities throughout the year to meet those goals - whether or not they are internal mission goals or department/institute Dean Snapshot goals. Develops and tracks data on dashboards to ensure progress towards goals and identifies opportunities to the Dean.  Finance and Budgeting: Responsible with the Dean for establishment/approval of all annual budgets.  Also responsible for the school long range financial plan.  Works with NYULISOM Health Finance to maximize utilization of operating, capital, and external (i.e. philanthropy) sources of funds. Develops strategies for general cost control. Oversees the development of the capital budget.  Throughout the year, works with each office to manage the operations to budget.  Establishes with the NYULISOM SVPs of Finance, Strategy, HR and  annual medical school tuition, rent, health insurance and student fees. New Business Planning.  Identifies and develops opportunities for growth and development of educational programs -new schools, new businesses as well as new programs.   Participates in strategic planning, budget and operations planning and implementation for all matters pertaining to the school. Ensures development opportunities for all staff and leadership.  Identifies professional development opportunities for Associate Deans and Directors.   Works with leadership to identify and implement opportunities to improve employee engagement. Mission Operations.   Works closely with all Associate Deans/Directors to ensure we optimize our services and products, making efficient use of all resources.   Identifies areas for performance improvement and engages the resources available and own skills in Lean / Six Sigma Management and Change Management.  Serves as Administrative Mission lead for all institutional programs including Emergency Management and Emergency Planning. Curricular Reform.   Plays a leadership role working in concert with Education Deans in UME, GME and IIME across all campuses and schools to ensure we leverage our education dashboards and internal/external evaluations & assessments in order identify opportunities for appropriate curricular enhancements in all phases of medical education for undergraduates and trainees. Works with the SVP to identify strategic areas for education program improvement and provide required resources required to make such structural changes and ensures proper orchestration of such efforts. Faculty Affairs: Develops strategic goals for faculty affairs in conjunction with the Dean/Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. Develops and implements faculty affairs initiatives including those related to productivity, compensation practices, and reward and recognition. Develops and implements policies and procedures for faculty to improve processes, data management, and align with School and NYULISOM goals. Provide guidance and serves as a resource to departmental administrators and chairs on all faculty affairs matters including performance management, appointments, promotion and tenure, and any legal matters. Oversees the Departmental Chair Searches. Oversees the process for faculty recruitment and changes in responsibility for faculty in conjunction with the Office of Business Strategy and Planning. Collaborates with administration for mission areas and corporate services to align faculty initiatives across the School. Systems Design, Implementation and Oversight: Plays a leading role in the design, implementation and oversight of all education and faculty affairs systems. Compliance/Policies & Procedures: Coordinates a centralized approach to the development, implementation and management of policies and procedures for all the areas.   Assures compliance with internal policies of the school and external regulatory agencies such as the LCME, ACGME, FERPA and ACCME. School Accreditation: Together with the Dean and Senior Associate Deans, orchestrates and supports the accreditation processes for the LCME, NYS Department of Education and Middle States.  Marshalls appropriate resources to ensure completion of all accreditation to full LCME accreditation and also oversees all reaccreditations.   Education:  Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration or related field required Work Experience: 5 -10 yrs Progressive experience in Healthcare Leadership required 3 - 5 yrs Experience in Academic Leadership preferred Skills: Excellent leadership, team building, talent management and change management skills required Organizational savvy and strong interpersonal skills required Exceptional skills with strategic thinking, finance and planning required 12315773_182943

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
