Manager, Web & Digital Communications The Manager, Web & Digital Communications is responsible for website development and development of content for the main consumer portal, coordination of development of the Virtual Medical Office (Physician Portal), including content development and coordination of content with the Patient Portal, as well as addition of new features to all digital portals, oversight of all social media platforms, and support for Public Relations and Marketing, including crisis communication and production of video content. MAJOR JOB DUTIES: oDevelop and implement Winthrop University Hospital's strategy and presence on the consumer website and physician portal, as well as coordinate content for the patient portal and a variety of social media platforms, (i.e. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn). Work with internal and external IT resources to update the websites and accommodate ongoing needs. oOversees the partnership with individual service lines and divisions to incorporate information about each of the hospital's services for use by the consumer, patients, students and health professionals in researching important information about Winthrop. oCreate, maintain and review content for multiple social media platforms, and generate ideas for content such as new videos, as well as work with Public Relations to incorporate key news stories into social content. Utilize social media, when appropriate for crisis communications. oWorks with developers to initiate and implement a mobile-friendly configuration for all Winthrop digital platforms. oWorks with marketing staff to develop, produce and edit video content for various service lines that can be used broadly for marketing communications and specifically in the digital space. oMaintain an active understanding of new website strategies and technologies in order to sustain Winthrop's state of the art presence and take advantage of new digital technologies. oPerforms other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree Communications, Website Development, Digital Media, or related field, required.  Experience: 6 - 8 years managing a large, multi-section website combining static content as well as transactional and social components, required. 1 - 2 years working with Developers and/or Site Hosting Companies, required. Skills: Excellent communication (both oral and written), organization, detail-oriented skills, required.   Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required.   Knowledge and familiarity with website development software, required. 12300696_182695

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
