Position Description
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for the overall Information Systems & Technology. The role has a large emphasis on our client's infrastructure (rebuilding infrastructure from bottom up).The position reports to the President. This is a hands on management role. The management of this area includes:
in-house and outsourced systems & applications
systems, network & desktop support
computer operations
data/voice communications
vendor selection, contract negotiation and vendor management
information security program
business continuity planning
disaster recovery planning
100% Hands on/get it done person
Strong emphasis on:
Active Directory experience
IP Address Scheme/Roaming Profiles
File share rights
A partial list of essential job functions includes:
Development of an IT Business & Strategic Plan as well as annual budgets
Supervision, motivation and evaluation IT staff.
Project Management coordination
Vendor management of mission critical IT service providers
Management of roles, IDs, and access rights for Active Directory.
Support internal customers with technical assistance, network connectivity, equipment diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software
Support remote employees with technical assistance, remote access connectivity, equipment diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software
Service and support for all IT equipment
Maintain and troubleshoot existing PCs and peripherals throughout the company's network including but not limited to PCs, notebooks, and laptops
Support all employees and respond to all incidents in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner
Provide training on an as-needed basis to employees
Assist in deployment of new technologies and other related tasks
Manage IT inventory of all equipment, licenses, service, and support contracts and incidents.
Setup and troubleshoot mobile devices
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the new hire/termination processes
The position requires:
Strong knowledge of Active Directory is a must.
At least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial of IT role.
At least 5 year in a hands-on IT role.
Knowledge of IT trends & strategies; and excellent project & people management skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
