Responsibilities:
As the Assistant General Manager at ABC Parts International, Inc.
, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company operates smoothly and continues to grow.
Working directly with the General Manager, you'll oversee various aspects of our operations, including:
Spearheading the implementation of NetSuite, optimizing its functionalities to boost our operational efficiency.
Liaising with department heads daily, ensuring seamless operations in accounting, customer service, warehouse, and purchasing.
Elevating our sales and customer service strategies through data-driven decisions and effective team leadership.
Assisting the General Manager and CEO with various tasks and projects.
Generate reports and analyze data related to sales, purchasing, or other company KPI's.
Attend daily and weekly meetings with employees and General Manager, take notes and follow up on any open tasks.
Establish daily communication with department managers to oversee and maintain the optimal functionality of each department.
Coordinating with the Accounting, Customer Service, Warehouse & Purchasing Department Managers to ensure the smooth operation of each department, overseeing tasks related to each department and reporting back to the General Manager daily.
Monitoring, supporting, and building the sales team, including coaching and training.
What We're Looking For:
Your background is a blend of technology, analytics, and industry knowledge.
Specifically, we need:
Profound expertise in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite, with a proven track record of leveraging these tools to analyze data and improve business processes.
Experience in accounting, logistics, distribution, wholesale, B2B sales, and customer service, with a strong understanding of the dynamics in these areas.
Leadership experience in a related field, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex challenges and lead teams to success.
Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships while driving hard bargains.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher preferred but not required.
Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within the automotive parts industry or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business software systems or ERP's, ability to run and analyze reports.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated track record of implementing corrective action plans.
Effective communication skills for addressing disciplinary issues professionally while maintaining a positive work environment.
